Greetings, arcane wizards and sorceresses! Let me take you on a cheerful journey through the highlights of my week as I continue to work on Arcane Additions and make it into the ultimate destination for D&D and Warhammer enthusiasts.
Defeating the BBEG (Big Bad Exam)
The greatest challenge this week wasn’t fought on a battlefield, but rather in the hallowed halls of academia. I faced the towering beast known as "Corporate Strategy Exam," and while its riddles were devious, I left the fight feeling victorious. Though the results are yet to be revealed, I’m optimistic that I didn’t do too shabby. The experience reminded me that every hero’s journey requires perseverance—whether it's slaying a dragon or conquering an exam!
Advancing the Arcane Additions Questline
On the business front, there were some significant milestones worth celebrating:
1. Triumph Over Scams: Earlier this month, I fell victim to a shady commission deal on Fiverr. This week, justice prevailed as I received a full refund for that misadventure. Lesson learned: not all merchants are trustworthy, and you need to choose your vendors wisely—just like shopping for magical items at the local bazaar!
2. Surveying the Adventurers’ Guild: I reached out to my local Dungeons & Dragons community with a survey about an upcoming product idea. The feedback was both insightful and inspiring. Connecting with fellow adventurers always fills me with excitement, and I can’t wait to put their suggestions into action. Stay tuned for more updates on this upcoming project—it’s something you won’t want to miss!
Crafting and Celebrating Personal Wins
1. Magnetizing Warhammer Models: This week, I took my first plunge into magnetizing Warhammer models, and let me tell you—it was a blast! There’s something incredibly satisfying about snapping components into place and knowing you can change it to another option later. It’s a game-changer for loadouts, and I’m already itching to magnetize more models as well as terrain.
2. Watching Secret Level on Amazon prime: My downtime this week was spent diving into the mesmerizing world of Secret Level on Amazon. All of the episodes we're very well animated - my favorites? The Warhammer 40K and Dungeons & Dragons episodes, naturally! But I also thoroughly enjoyed Sifu, and New World: Aeternum had me laughing out loud. (That Predator reference at the end? Pure gold!) If you’re looking for something to watch this holiday season, I highly recommend giving it a look.
Holiday Greetings and Farewell
As we draw closer to the end of the year, I’m preparing for a well-deserved break. I’ll be heading home for the Christmas holidays to recharge, reflect, and spend time with loved ones. To all of you out there, whether you’re rolling dice or painting miniatures, I wish you a joyous holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and creativity. May your dice always roll high, and your paintbrushes never falter!
Here’s to many more adventures together. Until next time, happy holidays!
