What's up Arcane Wizards and Sorceresses!
I’m Nick, 24 years old, currently based in the Netherlands and I recently founded Arcane Additions—a project that’s been a long time coming. Just two weeks ago, I officially launched this company with one clear goal: to create cool products and accessories for your tabletop experience.
It’s not just the dice rolls, the intricate maps, or the perfectly timed twists in the story — If you’re like me, you know there’s something truly magical about the way these games bring people together. Many times have I talked to friends I haven't seen in ages about past adventures as if we just experienced them yesterday. I’ve always loved storytelling, and nothing beats the feeling of sitting down with a group of friends (often from wildly different circles) and seeing them bond over shared adventures, struggles and triumphs.
Maybe that’s why I’ve been stuck as the "forever DM." I genuinely love the time and effort it takes to prepare a session, and the payoff is always worth it: watching someone new at the table light up with excitement and asking me when they get to play again. That’s the feeling I want to help other dungeon masters create. My dream with Arcane Additions is to inspire and empower DMs to wow their players, whether they’re long-time adventurers or first-time guests.
Right now, I’m focusing on building up an online presence through content creation. I have some exciting ideas for products in the works (but no spoilers yet!). It’s going to be a challenge—working solo and finding the right partners to bring my ideas to life won’t be easy—but I’m up for it. This hobby has meant so much to me over the years, and I’m determined to create something that makes it even more special for others.
If you’ve read this far, thank you! I’d love for you to follow along on this journey. You can find me on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, where I’ll be sharing updates, ideas, and behind-the-scenes looks at what I’m working on. I’ve got some cool things planned, and I’m working hard to make them a reality.
Cheers,
Nick
