Setting up my online Business

Nick Schmid|

What's up arcane wizards and sorceresses,

I hope that all of you had joyful holidays with your family and loved ones and a good start into the new year! The holidays and past few weeks have been a bit slower here at Arcane Additions since I was back home without most of my equipment, however I finally have some exciting news to share. I have been working on a few things over the holidays which I am finally ready to share with you.

The first update I want to share with you is that I have reworked the company logo to a more professiona standard and I am quite happy with how it turned out. Get ready to see this logo featured more often. The next big update is that I have started getting my seller accounts ready for amazon and bol.com and hopefully will be abe to start selling soon.

What is it that I am going to start seling you ask?

Well for starters I wil start selling some nice DND dice on here and on the mentioned marketpaces. I have ordered some samples and I am eager to check their quaity. Furthermore I will start selling some DND-Dice Leather bags as optional additions to the sets. I have plans for other products in the future, however due to my limited financial means as a student I will have to wait until I have made some sales to be able to expand.

The next thing I am currently preparing in the background is going to be a kickstarter. The details are not fully worked out just yet because I am still laying the groundwork, however what I can already tell you is that I will be comissioning STL files for minis and possibly more addons based on a recent Dungeons and Dragons campaign I ran. Stay tuned as I will post more updates about this during the year.

Lastly, I am currently working with an artist to create a 3D printable, modular dungeon terrain for tabletop. I have tried printing some samples and the idea seems promising, however we still need to get the connection system right.

Other than that I have to say I am quite looking forward to the new year. I have just had some friends over and played the first DND session of 2025. I am planning to merge together two different friendgroups and campaigns into one bigger group to make it possible to play more consistently with a rotating player base. Let's see how it goes, next session will be the following weekend.

That's it from my side, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Cheers,

Nick
